pulcini-chicks

Qualche giorno fa i bambini del pre-scuola mi hanno portata a vedere i pulcini che stanno allevando nella loro classe. Hanno preso le uova, messe nell'incubatrice e ,dopo una settimana, sono nati i pulcini!
La prima foto è stata fatta dalla piccola finestra dell'incubatrice e il pulcino pare ancora un po' assonnato :)
Oggi li hanno portati a casa e più avanti li porteranno nella cascina.
Così ho fatto le ultime due foto , espressive, vero?

Some days ago i went to see the chicks with the pre-school children.
Initially they put the eggs into the incubator and after a week the chicks were born!
The fisrt pic was taken from the small window incubator and the chick looks sleepy still!
Today the children carried them at home and later they'll carry at the farm.
So, i've taken the last two pics , so expressive eh?

A tutte le menti incantate dedico questa foto ,scattata ieri, per caso, lungo la strada.
Guidavo la macchina e ho avuto solo un momento.
Questo coniglietto era velocissimo e grande quanto una mano.
Fortunatamente esistono ancora incantamenti come questi :)

With all of you ,that have enchanted minds, i would share this photo taken luckly yesterday, on the road. I was driving my car and i had just a moment to take it!
This lovely baby rabbit was fast like Speedy Gonzales and small like a hand.
Luckly we still have enchantments like this :)

colore digitale-digital color

La mia amica Francesca era curiosa di vedere gli utilizzi del colore digitale con tavoletta grafica e così ho preparato qualcosa.
Ovviamente le applicazioni del digitale sono molteplici e ci sono illustratori bravissimi che ne fanno un uso meraviglioso e altrettanto personale, come ad esempio i miei amici Yera o Taka :)
Io sono ancora nella fase "sperimentazione", perchè amo di più il colore tradizionale con carta e pennelli.
Le immagini qui sopra appartengono a 2 libri pubblicati l'anno scorso ed sono dipinte appunto in digitale.

My friend Francesca wished to see what you can do using digital colors and the pen tablet, so i've prepared something.
Obviously the digital applications are so many and various and there are great illustrators that use digital colors in very personal ways, as my friends Yera or Taka :)
I'm still making "experiments " with it , because i like more the traditional color.
The pics here come from 2 published books for Wayland editions and they're in digital.

Anche la mia tavoletta Bamboo ora si sente più allegra grazie agli adesivi di Sue ;)

ikea and Einstein

E' inutile nasconderlo, mi piace andare all'Ikea e comprare cose o mobili che posso poi rielaborare come voglio. Adoro l'estrema versatilità e la libertà di girare per il negozio senza commessi che ti inseguono :)
Un paio di anni fa ho fatto la family card e così, durante l'anno, ricevo questa rivista con articoli curiosi riguardanti "trasformazioni di case" etc.
Ieri, nella prima pagina, c'era una scritta rossa che diceva:

I can't hide it, i LOVE to go to Ikea and to buy things or furnitures that I can transform as I want. I adore the big versatility and the freedom to visit the store without clerks that chase you:)
Some years ago I 've got my Family card and during the year I receive this review with curious articles about"houses transformations ".
Yesterday, in the first page, there was a red writing that said:
Change means see the life from a different point... Change is live.

and there was a small detail on the bottom from Albert Einstein:

Voglia d'estate ? istruzioni !!
Prendete un vecchio vaso di terracotta, dei colori, una profumatissima piantina-nana di limone e le istruzioni dell'ikea.
Mescolate tutto insieme, con tanto amore ,e portate un buonissimo profumo d'estate in casa vostra :)

Instructions for Summer needs!!
Take an old pot (mine was in terracotta), some colors , a wonderful lemon baby-plant and old ikea instructions.
Mixed everything, with a lot of love, and you'll have a gorgeous summer smell at your home :)

ninfee

Ieri sonostata nuovamente al laghetto delle ninfee e finalmente sono sbocciate !
A me piacciono moltissimo, spero anche a voi :)

Yesterday i went again to the ninfeas' lake and finally they were blooming !
I love this flower and i hope you too :)

Cercavo una cassettiera piccola per la stanza da letto, in legno ,possibilmente blu e bianca e così siamo andati all'Ikea a cercarla . Non l'ho trovata, però in compenso ho preso questa :

I was looking for a small 3 drawer chest, in blue and white wood, for our bedroom . So we went to Ikea. I didn't find it but i've bought this one:

e poi l'ho colorata io :)
and then i've paint it by my own :)

Martina's package

In questi giorni il mio umore non è meraviglioso a causa del troppo stress che ho accumulato recentemente e anche la mia creatività ne risente ma...
oggi ho ricevuto il feltro colorato che avevo comprato da Martina e dentro c'era anche una piccola e bella sorpresa : un fiore di feltro riempito di lavanda e una piccola spilla.
Certe piccole cose aiutano a migliorare l'umore e portano un sorriso :)

Recently my mood is not good, i'm too much stressed and my creativity looks desappeared but... today i've got the colored felt that i've bought from Martina and she made me a so so lovely surprise : a felt flower filled with delicious lavender and a small pin . Some little things like this give a smile and make the mood a bit better :)

Il sole è arrivato e così mister Baggins ed io siamo andati da Viridea a comprare fiori e piantine per il balcone :)
Era una bellissima giornata e così ho scattato qualche foto del posto.

Ho terminato da poco le illustrazioni per un piccolo audiolibro che uscirà a breve.
Appena sarà possibile inserirò qualche immagine, per ora godetevi la luna :)
Grazie ad Andrea per le sue belle fiabe ,spero presto di poterne ascoltare anche le musiche.

I've just finished the illustration for a cd book that 'll come soon. When possible i'll put some image about it, for now the moon is shining on you :)
